Aristi Costopoulou was born in Athens, where she lives and works. She graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Media and Education of the University of Bolton. In 2011 she post graduated from the School of English History and Politics of the University of Ulster with diploma in the Museum Practice and Management.

She attended classes on Colour Analysis, Painting, Aesthetics, Philosophy and Cause of Art, Symmetry by Dr. Lazaros K. Konstantinidis and on History of Art and Critical Studies by the Art Historian Betty Hatziplis.

Her diploma projects are a video performance/installation on the sense of "Lightness". Her MA thesis is on balancing the economic, environmental and preservation needs of the UNESCO Natural Heritage Sites.

She is the curator of the shows and representations in the 9th Hydrogeology Congress and the 3rd International Symposium of Aqua Sciences, Water Resources and the Arts (www.isaswr.com) of the project “World Water Museum” installation. The shows at Technohoros Art Gallery consisted of the visual concept and evolution of the water perceived as collective item, the video performance “ILISSOS” and the live performance “DIPSA” (Thirst).

In 2010 she curated and presented the biographical video performance “100 pages of visual creation” organized by the Association of Greeks from Egypt.

In May 2010 she participated in the ArtAthina, 2010 with the ArtAZ Gallery with the collage "War" for the "ArtAZbook".

In December 2009 she participated in the group art exhibition "The Odyssey Within" of the Agora Gallery in New York.

In November 2009 she presented the video installation "Record Earth" at Scalamata Space, Venice, invited by the curators of the group exhibition "Parallel Worlds".

She conceived and curated the participation of artists from Paleo Faliro at the Athens Biennale 2009, with the site specific installation "Heaven - We walked along Eden".

During the summer of 2008 she participated in the photographic group exhibition "Photographic Series - New Blood" at the International Gallery & MEME in Liverpool.

In June 2008 she presented the video installation "Lightness" at the Innovation Factory Gallery in Bolton, UK.
